We were asked to create the identity for a luxury South African tea and coffee brand that caters to an international market. We named the brand NOOA (Naturally Out Of Africa), and came up with names for each of the 12 products. The brand's sophisticated, back-to-nature essence is captured in the brandmark, website, packaging and evocative copy.

Patterns are inspired by the flora and fauna of the areas in which the teas and coffees are grown. The brandmark's irregular linework provides a visual interpretation of the view from the top of a rooibos plant, with the spiked leaves forming a radial 'flavour burst'.
